Tasked with simplifying and systematizing the existing packaging system for 3 product categories with uniquely complex requirements - baked goods, chocolate & confectionary, and wet goods - we devised a few possible solutions that accomplished the KPIs of environmental sustainability, brand perception lift and visual unification, and generally improved product visibility in retail environments.
A system of flat-packed “pop-up” boxes with recyclable PLA-based film windows for cakes, cookies, and more.

The kit of parts comes together with the marriage of standardized exterior packaging and a modular system of internal cardboard inserts, which allows for the widest possible array of products of different sizes to leverage the same primary packaging shell.
